How We Got Our Name

Ronnie Truitt came to Cypress-Fairbanks ISD in 1967, and in 1971, coached the Cy-Fair High School Bobcat basketball team to their state basketball championship. He began his administrative career in 1972 as a high school assistant principal and elementary principal, spending his remaining years as principal of Jersey Village High School.
