Second grade began the year creating a class contract recognizing the importance of setting up a positive classroom climate that shows how we help each other, how we work together, how we share, how we listen, and how we have fun together.  We agreed that everyone’s efforts were important and meaningful. 
     Through one of the read alouds we listened to at the beginning of the school year,The Best Part of Me by Wendy Ewald, we decided to share our best part in a slideshow.
