Science-
Welcome Little Chicks!  First Graders were able to experience the hatching of chicks as part of their animal life cycle unit in science.  They enjoyed reliving the excitement through a slide show and a class book.

Math-
Thanksgiving dinner was the inspiration for a class graph about our favorite pies.  After creating the graph, students discussed the results:  Which pie was the most favorite?  Which was the least favorite?  How many more children like apple pie than pumpkin pie?

Language Arts-
Students are busy at their language arts workstation using Phonics Express, a fun program that has games and activities for phonics review.
