Fifth grade math students composed stories using the prime numbers less than 30.  Their exaggerated stories related to an important event in their lives.

Science-
The fifth grade scientists were creating food chains and food webs using Kidspiration.  Each student used a laptop and was allowed to create an environment that had a food web with at least four producers, three herbivores, and three carnivores.

Social Studies-
Students filled in the Colonial Times web, identifying various aspects of living during the colonial period. Areas identified were; (1) types of transportation and communication, (2) arts, crafts, stories, and music, (3) daily life, and (4) inventions and discoveries.  The second project was comparing and contrasting the way of life of Colonists vs. Native Americans using a Venn Diagram.
