After completing a lesson on pumpkins, Mrs. Wedel's prekindergarten class cut open a pumpkin and explored the inside. They used their senses to see, smell and even touch everything that was in the pumpkin. The next day they tasted the pumpkin seeds . They decided whether or not they liked the taste of the pumpkin seeds, and made this graph to display the results. | ||||||||

Social Studies Ms. Scott's class learned about our neighborhood and everything in it. Kidspiration 2 has a neighborhood template that allows the children to create their own neighborhood. The class discussed all the things in our neighborhood from buildings, cars and people to bugs, trees and flowers. The bilingual children learned a lot of vocabulary with this program. Each child created their own version of their neighborhood. |
