Fourth grade students were learning about astronomy and specifically the planets. They had just learned how each of these planets compares to Earth in its distance, location from the sun, and its atmosphere. They were asked to take notes on each of the planets from a PowerPoint shown in class. Afterwards, they had to create a web in Inspiration using pictures and facts. |

In the fourth grade science curriculum, students use a program called Science Discovery Works. The program leads the students through the activity by following the characters. In this activity, the students were identifying vertebrates and invertebrates. As the students complete the activity, they write their information on a worksheet. These two students are writing their information on their worksheet after identifying vertebrates. |
