Attention Parents:
If you are interested in becoming a Jersey Village Key Communicator, please email your name, student’s name and student’s grade level to jerseyvillage@cfisd.net. As a key communicator, you will receive email from the principal about school events, activities, important dates and general information. You are encouraged to share key communicator information with your friends and neighbors to assist us in providing current, accurate information to our community. We are looking forward to communicating with you electronically. |
April 26 is the TAKS Blitz. Students are invited to attend one or more of the sessions. Science is from 8-10, Math is from 10-12, and Social Studies is from 12:30-2:30. Pizza will be provided for those students who one or more of the morning sessions.
Yearbook orders must be placed by April 10th. Order online at www.myyear.com or in Room 1712.
Sophomores and juniors interested in the Dual Credit Program for the 08-09 school year should see Ms. Landry in the counselor's office or at Counselor's Corner. Registration needs to be complete by May 2nd.

Parents
and students:
Please remember that
the school district has a dress code policy. Read the Student
Handbook pages 34-35 on dress and grooming so that you may
help your student select school appropriate clothing.

| Cell phones
are not to be used by students during the school day. If they are
seen or heard, they will be confiscated and assessed a $15 fine.
On the second offense, the device is assessed another $15 fine and
held for 30 days. In addition, CD players, MP3 players, and other
music recording/playback devices are not to be used by students
until 2:30pm. These items are not permitted even before school.
If the devices are seen or heard throughout the school day, they
will be confiscated. On the first offense, the device is returned
to the student the same day without a fee, after that, the item
is held for 30 days as well as assessed a $15 fine.. |
