First Six Weeks
Students reviewed strategies for answering Math problems. Our emphasis is still on the four step process.
Students enjoyed our out of this world astronomy unit this six weeks along with a metric unit.
They also learned and practiced procedures for Writing Workshop and Reading Workshop. Students learned to write a reading response letter.
Students learned the 5 strands of Social Studies. Students completed their ISN spiral set-up.
Second Six Weeks
This six weeks we are working on fractions.
In Science students are working on a Living Systems unit.
Students are writing personal narratives and identifying character traits and other story elements in their reading.
Students are working on a Texas Native American unit.
