All student files saved on the "Student H Drive" must be saved to a portable drive (flash drive) before the end of school. All student files will be deleted over the summer.

As we prepare to wrap up the end of the 2011-2012 school year, please remember to pick up all medications that have been dropped off to the clinic. According to district guidelines, "Medication remaining at the end of the school year shall be taken home by the parent/guardian. Any medication not claimed shall be discarded as recommended by appropriate guidelines and documented in student record." The last day to pick up any medications will be Friday May 25, 2012. Invitations will be sent home with students who are receiving awards in one of the following categories: Honor Roll, Honor Graduates, and Special Awards.

Cy-Woods will be offering a NEW club/organization next year, FBLA. This organization will allow you to become a part of the Woods in a new and exciting way! Students compete against other students from other schools, cities, and states in a variety of subjects including: desktop publishing, impromptu speaking, accounting, game design, web design, and so much more. See Mrs. Andrade in Room 3006 if you are interested in being a part of this new endeavor for next year!

The American Red Cross Club is going to be up and running next school year. However, we need officers to help make that possible, so we are currently in search for people to fill in the several officers positions that we need in order to help make next years club a success. To apply: pick up an application in the Nurses office. They will be due Monday May 21st.

Cypress-Fairbanks ISD will participate in “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day” on Wednesday, June 6, 2012. Because of the district’s agreement to participate in this manner, students will not be excused from school to participate in the national “Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day” scheduled for late April.

Many businesses are in support of the change as it allows the employers and employees to determine the level of participation that is appropriate for business owners and their employees’ children. By scheduling this activity in June, it will not interfere with a regular instructional school day, which is very important to the education of our students.

Students no longer need to use their parents' credentials to log onto Home Access Center. For all secondary schools, we have enabled the system to allow students to log onto Home Access Center by using their Novell username and password. The link to Home Access Center remains the same.
