Parent Meeting
There will be an informational Parent Meeting with the counselors on September 18, 2010. The meeting will be held in the auditorium. Freshmen and Sophomore parent meeting is from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. The Junior Parent Meeting is 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. and the Senior Parent Meeting is 11 a.m. to 12 noon. Information will include graduation requirements, testing information, and how to be a successful high school student.
PSAT Information 2010
Cypress-Fairbanks ISD will administer the PSAT to all tenth-grade students (free of charge) on Wednesday, October 13, 2010. Eleventh-grade students may choose to take the PSAT for a fee of $16.00. Saturday, October 16, 2010, is an alternate testing date for juniors only at Jersey Village High School. Contact the high school counseling office for specific times and additional details.
As stipulated by HB 1844 (TEC 29.916), home-schooled students may attend public school to participate in the PSAT administration. Specific registration information can be obtained by calling the Guidance and Counseling office at the Instructional Support Center or the counseling office at any of the district's high schools.

Invisible Children Meeting Rescheduled
Rescheduled: 1st meeting will be Thursday, September 16. All club meeting dates will include a morning meeting in Room 1158 at 6:45 AM and an afternoon meeting in Room 2523 at 2:40 PM. For more information, click on the links below:

Cy-Woods Key Communicators
Campus key communicator correspondence is a great way to get factual information to parents quickly and inexpensively. In addition to forwarding Dr. Anthony’s key communicator letters,
key communicator email will:
- Send out reminders for campus events;
- Help parents get the facts out about incidents to tame the rumor mill
- Highlight staff and student accomplishments
- Distribute school supply lists
- Distribute newsletters
- Share other important information like game cancellations, fund-raiser delivery, report cards, etc.

Adult ESL Classes Available to Community
