Practice Workout/Drills




Swimming:

300-500- Freestyle swim to warm up
300- 500 Hungarians- Swim a 100 and do 10 pushups/ sit ups after
200- Shot Clocks- Swim and pop up x 3 per 25
200- Head up swim-Freestyle with your head up
400- Water Polo IM- Butterfly w/ Breaststroke kick, Head up back stroke and then a 25 tread or tread for a 50, Head up Freestyle
600-12 x 50 @ :50- Dirty Dozen
200- Drag Drill- Partner drags from your waist while you tread forward for a 25 then switch
200- Train Drill- One partner kicks the other pulls, switch every 25 or 50

Leg Work:

2-Min Drill-Tread for 2 min with hands,elbows, shoulders out of the water
Jugs- 5 gallon jug filled w/ water, empty it while treading
Dead Man Drag- drape partner's hands over shoulders, tread with shoulders out of the water
Push drill- lock hands and push partner across pool
Walk the box- Walk (tread and move forward) around the deep end

Ball Work:

Passing (Right/ Left/Both)
Dribbling Races
Pass-Pass- Shot
Tip Drill
Turns
Rare-backs and Wet shots
UCLA

Game-time Situations:

6v6 Offense/ Defense
6v5 Offense
Counter attack Offense / Defense
Slough / Help Defense
5v6 Defense

We practice Monday Thursday and Friday from 3-5 Games are on Tuesdays Tournaments are the only exception to practice and games
