The Science National Honor
Society encourages and recognizes scientific and intellectual
thought, advances students' knowledge of classical and
modern science, aids the civic community and encourages
students to participate in community service. Student
must be in the last 2 years of high school, have and
maintain a 3.0/4.0 grade point average, and maintain
a B+ average in all science courses to be a member.
At Cypress Springs, members of the SNHS make presentations
on science topics, participate in fundraising activities
and perform community service including assisting with
science tutorials. To maintain membership, students
must attend regular meetings while continuing to exhibit
scholarship, honor and integrity.
