Destination Imagination is a club that incorporates many different subject areas: math, science, English, drama, engineering, history, etc. It is a showcase for your child’s creativity, inventiveness, and team working skills. Throughout the first semester the club meets weekly (upon the discretion of each team), but when competition time comes nearer our meeting dates will increase significantly. Student fees for the club are ten dollars per student. This fee will cover most materials for competitions and practices. Also, we are greatly in need of parent volunteers and chaperones for the regional meet. |

Destination ImagiNation (DI) is an organization that will help further teach your child the skills of creative problem solving, brainstorming, and teamwork. If your child is selected to participate, his/her group of 5-7 will meet about 1.5 hours weekly in the fall and about 4 hours weekly in the spring to solve a complex challenge.
As a parent, your help in your child's team is much appreciated. You can volunteer as a Team Manager, Assistant Team Manager, Consultant, Social Director, Moral Supporter, Financial Assistor, anything would be great!!!!
Your child's weekly meeting will take place based on the needs of the Team Managers and of you children. The Team Managers may choose to meet at their house or you may decide to alternate meeting places from week to week (most meetings will take place at the school). |
