Speech and Debate
The Speech and Debate Team members of 08-09 actively participate in tournament competitions
throughout the year in such events as Lincoln Douglas and Public Forum Debate, poetry, prose, duet
acting, dramatic interpretation, humorous interpretation, extemporaneous speaking, oratory and
student congress. Students compete throughout the Houston area as well
as the state and country.
The team is open to any student interested in the club.
Dues are announced at the beginning of each year.
Practice: Tuesdays and Thursdays after school.
Tournaments: Fridays and Saturdays
