Terry Noe
Social Studies Department Chair
Terry Noe grew up in a suburb of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education. Mr. Noe began his teaching career at Arnold Middle School in 1985, teaching Adaptive Behavior classes and a variety of math classes designed for students with special needs. He also taught eighth grade US History for six years.
When Goodson Middle School opened in 2001, Mr. Noe became the Department Chair for Social Studies. A CFISD Spotlight teacher, Mr. Noe was also selected as an Outstanding Middle School teacher by the CFISD Council for Social Studies. Under his leadership, Goodson’s Social Studies Department was named one of the top 50 Middle School Social Studies Departments by Texas Monthly in 2005. Cypress Lakes will benefit from his 23 years of educational experience.
