Ellen Holzman
English Department Chair

Ellen Holzman, English Department Chair, received her BA in English from Corpus Christi State University. She, then, completed her MA in Composition and Rhetoric at Texas A & M, Corpus Christi. Ms. Holzman originally was a Starbucks’ Manager where she gained skills in communication and team building. She began her teaching career at Cook Middle School where she taught seventh graders for five years and sponsored the Young Writers Club. Since joining the faculty at Cy-Springs, Ms. Holzman has taught English III and AP Language and Composition. She currently holds an adjunct position at Cy-Fair College where she has taught English 1301 and 1302 for the last four years.
