Stephanie Handel
Choir Director
Stephanie Handal is thrilled to be joining the faculty of Cypress Lakes High School. Ms. Handal’s experience in front of choirs ranges from children’s choirs to university and professional choruses. As a performer, she has sung around the country and internationally both as a chorus member and soloist in musical settings which include everything from chamber choir to opera. Her conducting experience extends from within the country to her most recent work in Tuscany, Italy.
Ms. Handal earned her Bachelors Degree in Music Education from the University of North Texas, and her Masters Degree in Choral Conducting from Sam Houston State University. She is also currently a member of the Houston Chamber Choir.
