Manuel Gonzales
Band Director

Manuel Gonzales has 15 years of experience teaching band. He received his Bachelors Degree in Music Education from Stephen F. Austin State University. He has performed in all types of musical settings which include Chamber Ensembles, Opera, Orchestra, Wind Ensembles and Jazz Ensembles. He began his teaching as a Brass Clinician in the East Texas area. He has taught band in the Hallsville and Lufkin ISD before moving to Elsik High School in Alief ISD in 2000.

Mr. Gonzales’s main instrument is the trumpet.
