Nancy Gause
Director of Instruction

Nancy Gause’s educational experience spans thirty-four years. She began her career in Austin ISD where she taught 7 th grade math at Porter Junior High for one year. From Austin she moved to Aldine ISD where for three years she taught Fundamentals of Math and Geometry. Upon moving to Cypress Fairbanks ISD, Mrs. Gause taught every level of math from Pre-Algebra to Calculus BC at Jersey Village High School for nineteen years, served as Geometry team leader, then as Department Chair. When Cypress Springs High School opened in 1997, Mrs. Gause joined the staff as Department Chair for Mathematics and taught a variety of courses until she was named the Academic Achievement Specialist, a position she has held for five years.

Mrs. Gause earned her Bachelors of Arts in Mathematics from The University of Texas at Austin . She completed her Masters of Arts in Mathematics from Sam Houston State University . Additionally, she holds a Principals’ Certificate from Prairie View A&M University .
