Kay Nan Cooley
Languages Other Than English Department Chair
Kay Nan Cooley graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and teaching certifications in Psychology and Spanish. She received a Master of Education in Administration and her Mid-Management Certification from Sam Houston State University.
Ms. Cooley has twenty-three years of educational experience, all of them in CFISD. She taught Spanish for twenty-one years; seven years at Campbell Middle School and fourteen years at Langham Creek High School. While at Langham Creek, Ms. Cooley was the Department Chair from 2001-2006, and she currently serves as an Assistant Principal. Cypress Lakes is fortunate that she wishes to return to the classroom and lead the Languages Other Than English Department.
