NEW SECTION ON WEBSITE FOR CY-CREEK CHEERLEADERS AND PARENTS
The Cy-Creek website has a new section that will be for Cheerleaders and their parents this year. This section will have important documents and information regarding all of the cheerleaders and will be updated throughout the year. It will be filed under the Athletics section.

CY-CREEK 2008-2009 BACK TO SCHOOL INFORMATION
9th & 10th Grade

STUDENT PLANNERS TO BE REQUIRED FOR EVERY STUDENT IN 2008-2009 SCHOOL YEAR
The purchase of and daily use of a $5.00 student planner will be a new requirement for all Cy-Creek Cougars during the 2008-2009 school year. These planners will be essential for all students because:
- teachers will require students to record the weekly assignments, homework, project due dates, and test dates for every class;
- they will include the CCHS student handbook which contains vital information for all students; and
- they will include the student hallway pass which every student will need in order to be released from class for any reason.
Students may purchase planners at Cougar Express in August or on the first day of school.
There is also a new Back to School 2008-09 link which contains registration, attendance boundaries, calendars, and other important information as it becomes available for the upcoming school year.

PARENTS CAN BECOME A CY-CREEK KEY COMMUNICATOR
Attention Parents: If you are interested in becoming a Cypress Creek Key Communicator, please email your name, student’s name and student’s grade level to cycreek@cfisd.net.
As a key communicator, you will receive emails from the principal about school events, activities, important dates and general information. You are encouraged to share key communicator information with your friends and neighbors to assist us in providing current and accurate information to our community.
