Copeland 5th Grade Students Are "In Tune With Learning"!
5th grade celebrated Colonial Days in early October. Students can be seen here learning about life in a colonial town including popular activites for children their age during that historical time.

Recently, our 5th grade students wrote summaries of books they read and loved. Below is a student report about the book, Gabriel King.

Story element charting is an important part of 5th grade reading. Above is a chart one student put together about the baseball player, Roberto Clemente.

These students are working together to study the anatomy of a worm. Nothing like a little "hands on" experience!

5th grade math students recently practiced estimating. Here you can see an activity showing the difference between exact numbers and estimated numbers.
