- Summer New Student Registration is on:
August 11, 13, 14, 18, 19 & 20
Registration times are 9-11 am and 1-3 pm
No one will be available for registration on August 12th or 17th
- Homerooms will be posted by 6:00 pm on August 19th on the front windows.
- NEW ACTIVITY FOR 2009-2010 KINDER STUDENTS! - This year will be our first annual Kinder Parent Picnic. Please feel free to bring your Kinder student and join other parents on the playground hardtop for an evening picnic and social. This will be a good time for your little one to meet & make friends with other Kinder students. The picnic will be at 6:30 pm on August 19th, and Kinder class lists will be posted on the front and rear windows of the school.
- Meet the Teacher will be on August 21st. The times are as follows:
PPCD, Life Skills, Kindergarten & 5th Grade - 8:00 am to 8:45 am
1st & 3rd Grades - 9:00 am to 9:45 am
2nd & 4th Grades - 10:00 am to 10:45 am
- The first day of school is August 24th. Students will be let in the building starting at 7:55 am. Class begins promptly at 8:10 am!
- NEW PARENT MEETING - All parents who are new to Copeland Elementary are invited to attend a New Parent Meeting on August 27th at 6:30 pm. We will have information about our school, campus procedures and activities. We will also have members of our fabulous PTO present to provide information on how you too can get involved as a volunteer. We look forward to seeing all of you there!
- FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL REMINDER! There is a lot of traffic congestion the first week of school. Please remember we are doing our best to get each student into the building quickly and safely. We strongly recommend putting your student on the bus the first week of school, particularly in the morning. This will relieve a lot of congestion in the car rider line and guarantee your child is on the bus driver's list of students allowed to ride the bus.

- PTO Volunteer Orientation Brunch - Copeland loves its volunteers and we need your help! The PTO Volunteer Orientation & Brunch will be on September 8th. Come join us and find out what you can do as a volunteer in our school.
