Aubrey shares videotaping tips with Taylor for upcoming “Book Talk” presentations in fifth grade Language Arts.

Using the Balanced Literacy Program approach, fifth grader Shelby presents her “Book Talk” to classmates while Taylor is filming.  In addition to the presentation, each student was responsible for creating a book jacket which included the cover illustration, a brief summary, and information about the author.

Fifth Grade Bearkat Kouncil Officers presented a reader's theater to a captive audience during the honoring of our veterans. This Veteran's Day program was the first annual celebration expressing gratitude and honor to the members of our Bearkat families who have proudly served the United States armed forces.
