How We Got Our Name

The school’s namesake was a Cypress-Fairbanks ISD staff member for 35 years. She taught English, history, and sociology at Arnold Junior High School and Cy-Fair High School for 16 years. Ms. Aragon was an assistant principal at Cy-Fair High School before being named the principal of Dean Junior High School. She opened Cook Junior High School as its principal and, in 1989, became the principal of Cypress Creek High School until her retirement in 1996. She and her late husband, F.J., have two sons, John and Brian.
