We are learning the attributes of three dimensional shapes. We are modeling the faces, edges, and vertices.
We modeled this by creating the new shapes in 2D and 3D forms. We used the digital cameras to take pictures of our work. We had so much fun!
We are writing, writing, writing! We are learning the process of writing which includes webbing, drafting, revising & editing, and creating a final draft.
We revised our writings based on capitilization, punctuation, and correct verb tense by using the Kidswork Deluxe program. We were able to type and print our stories!
We created a Kidspiration file with habitats such as rainforests, ponds, deserts, and woodlands. We included pictures and were able to describe our habitats on our own.
We are locating and identifying key geographical concepts such as landforms, continents, and map-reading skills. We discovered that there are seven continents. We think that volcanoes were the most interesting of the landforms to learn about!
We created maps using a map-maker software on computers. We also used kidspiration to create a class map of the continents.
